SHOULD I CALL THE INSURANCE COMPANY FIRST?
Its better to call a Water Damage Specialist to start the water remediation process. Following this reaching out to your insurance, to start a claim. Adjusters usually wont be onsite for a day or two.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
Full remediation consists of two major phases.
The first consists of demolition, cleaning and drying the structure. This phase usually takes 3 – 5 days.
The second phase is the repairs. This can range from a few days to a couple of weeks depending on the degree of damage and lead time of materials. We will try to make it as short as possible.
